imageskeatonanniehall2-241x300There are some things in life unmatched; for me it’s Woody Allen. All things Woody Allen. The poignant humor, the intellectual thought provoking plots, the styles, the extramartial affairs, the love stories and the characters played by some of the greats… Tony Roberts, Diane Keaton, Meryl Streep, Mia Farrow, Carrie Fisher, Dianne Wiest, Angelica Houston… should I go on? When I lived in NYC, I spent many weekends with Woody… watching his films, reading his books and even going to see him speak once at the Y… My weekend ritual consisted of walking over to Kim’s Video and renting at least 5 of his films at a time. I still revisit him now and again, although not as often as I would like. Recently I rented Manhattan, Hannah and Her Sisters and Crimes and Misdemeanors. I own 2 copies of Annie Hall one of which lives in my dvd player. So the point I am trying to make is… hmm.. well.. the point is… that life wouldn’t be life without Woody…

Well la-di-da…
