“The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity…”

Dorothy Parker is one of our heros. The ultimate Social Gypsy. She’s the female Holden Caulfield. We haven’t blogged in a while due to lack of inspiration and a little too much beach time. So with that said, we decided to go back to our roots, and Dorothy Parker is just that. This woman had a wicked sense of humor and went against all social barriers. In some ways she was a feminist who made fun of women (today’s Tina Fey). I mean, any one who can write this is pure genius, “By the time you swear you’re his, Shivering and sighing, And he vows his passion is Infinite, undying — Lady, make a note of this: One of you is lying.” Bloody hell that is brilliant! We strongly recommend, The Portable Dorothy Parker.
