We have decided we are no longer putting a down payment on a purse. I’m sure this decision will last about as long as our next trip to Barney’s but in the meantime we have found the yummiest handbags that are not the price of your rent! They are simple, easy and chic. CLAREVIVIER is a collection of bags, which embody timeless style over trend, quality over hype, and progression over abstraction. Perfect for jet-setting around town and for us working gals!

We just died and went to Gypset HEAVEN! Run don’t walk people to R&G Collective. Inside you will find an array of vintage rugs, furniture from India, Moroccan tea sets, bright pillows and inspired photography…
Where did this madness come from? Wendy Riva and Andrea Gibbin have partnered up to share their inspired designs with R&G Collective. Note: this is a temporary pop-up shop open for business Monday through Saturday at 11981 San Vicente Blvd and it ends in November so get over their fast! Things are flying out of the store.

Jil Sander’s second collection for Uniqlo. Sander manages to make even bulky puffer coats look chic (though punky model Raquel Zimmermann doesn’t hurt either). From hooded swing coats to high-collared trenches. Prices are reasonable: Outerwear ranges from $69.90 to $229.90, dresses are $99 to $149.90, sweaters are $49.90 to $179.90, and bottoms are $59.90 to $69.90.

Our hero and cultural icon, Jeffrey Deitch looking dapper while standing in front of the Gorky exhibit at the MOCA. He has taken over as the new director. After dispelling his magic all over NYC (he left his mark- one of the best galleries in SOHO, The Deitch Projects) he has decided to grace LA with his genius. This is old news but we are still reveling..
