Up On Melancholy Hill…

January 16, 2011

Up on melancholy hill
There’s a plastic tree
Are you here with me
Just looking out on the day
Of another dream

Well you can’t get what you want
But you can get me
So let’s head out to sea
‘Cause you are my medicine
When you’re close to me
When you’re close to me

So call in the submarine
’round the world we’ll go
Does anybody know
If we’re looking out on the day
Of another dream

If you can’t get what you want
Then come with me

Up on melancholy hill
Sits a manatee, love
Just looking out for the day
When you’re close to me
When you’re close to me

When you’re close to me

Wonder Woman was and still is the ultimate female super hero. A goddess in her own right. She showed us that you can be beautiful, sexy, rock some insane accessories (those bracelets were dope) and still kick the bad guys ass. We need more women like her today (Anna Wintour is a close second). Yes, she wore star underwear, a bustier and red boots around town but she looked good and she took care of her business. What is this all about?! Well as some of your know Mac Cosmetics is partnering with DC Comics’ Wonder Woman to create a limited edition color cosmetics collection featuring the illustrated superhero. Set for a spring 2011 launch at all MAC locations worldwide, the lineup is expected to include lipsticks, eye shadows, blush and nail polish ranging in price from $13 to $49.50. Rumor has it, the Sharpie Liquid Liner is crazy good. You can go all Black Swan eyes with it… Cannot wait!

The Wonder Woman obsession lives on…
